Deactivating Inactive Users

Optimizer for Jira provides a tool that allows you to fetch, filter and deactivate Jira users based on their inactivity, editability, and licenses.

This tool allows you to set a large variety of filters to help you filter out users you want to deactivate. The left side of the tool contains your filters and the right side contains the output. To use the tool follow these simple steps.

1. Set filters and click fetch users once you're happy with the filters

2. Select users you want to deactivate (you can click the checkbox in the column header to select all)

3. Click deactivate users, ensure you're happy with the selection, and click add to queue

4. Once you've added all the users you want to deactivate open up the task queue and click create task on the inactivation queue
