If you would like to move from the Page Approvals app to Approvals for Confluence, please follow the steps below:

Migration Instructions

Open the Confluence Administration Settings and access Approval Configuration (A)

Click the Migration (B) option in the Approvals for Confluence settings, as shown below.

Next, click Start Migration (C) to begin migrating your existing data from Page Approvals to the Approvals for Confluence app.

This will begin the migration process which could take several minutes. A notification window will appear when the migration process is complete.

After completion, if you access any page that previously used Page Approvals, you will see the approval status (D) in the byline now contains the migrated data.
